The pic seems like the epitome of living peacefully, less stressed.

TimTimhttp://www.jennyraearmstrong.com/2012/06/12/rape-drugs-roadside-stands-and-human-trafficking-there-are-no-innocent-bystanders/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3479353484011316066.post-82642604465338761712012-06-13T08:14:02.112-04:002012-06-13T08:14:02.112-04:00I love it, Courtney,and I am excited that you have...I love it, Courtney,and I am excited that you have such a beautiful place to explore that concept. Along the lines of the quiet life, here is a verse that I came across this morning:

"My heart is not proud, O Lord,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
But I have stilled and quieted my soul;
like a weaned child with its mother,
like a weaned child is my soul within me." Ps. 131: 1-2

Perhaps a big part of the quiet life comes with a quiet spirit...and by that, I don't mean personality-wise, but in terms of contentment. It seems that David was able to quiet his soul because he accepted his place in the world and accepted his limitations ("I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.") I don't know. It's just a couple of verses, so not much to draw from, but it did give me some thoughts:).Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10377026220543309858noreply@blogger.com
